Installation guide
Before applying foil letters to a surface, you should have the basic knowledge in place. If you use the right method, you ensure that the foil text is mounted correctly, which helps to extend the service life.
Please note that the surface must be at least 5 degrees before the foil letters can stick properly.

Clean the application site – Before installing the foil letters, make sure to clean the application site thoroughly. You can, for example, do with benzine or alcohol, depending on whether the foil text is to be applied to a glass door, a shelf front, a cupboard door or the like. However, you should make sure that the application site can actually withstand alcohol or benzine. Alternatively, you can use water and soap if it is a sensitive surface.
- Use masking tape – You can then apply a piece of masking tape along the top of the place where you want to apply the foil letters. The purpose of this is to ensure that the foil text is placed neatly and straight.
- Remove the backing paper – Next, remove the backing paper from the foil text so that it is ready to be mounted.

Use a foil scraper – Afterwards, you must use a foil scraper so that the foil sticks firmly to the surface. This scraper can also be used to scrape away air and water bubbles, which may sitting under the foil.
- Remove the protective paper – When the foil letters are firmly attached and are free of air and water bubbles, the protective paper can be removed. You should remove the protective paper by gently pulling the paper at an angle of 180 degrees, ensuring that the foil letters do not follow the paper.
